I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan Residential College. I studied Creative Writing & Literature (Mixed-Genre Concentration) and Arts & Ideas in the Humanities (Image/Text Focus) with a minor in Linguistics. During my senior year, I conducted two separate honors theses for my majors, and both received highest honors.
I worked at the Sweetland Writing Center for two years as a Peer Writing Consultant and as a Student Advisory Board member for the Anti-Ableist Accessibility Initiative. I also worked as a lab assistant in the Residential College dark room.
As a writer, I enjoy mixed-genre and experimental forms of writing. I am in the process of submitting my first full-length manuscript for publishing. As an artist, film photography is my prominent medium, though I also love drawing, printmaking, and book arts. I enjoy all kinds of creative work, including my collegiate-level theatre education during high school.
